In the almost 600-page volume you can read about the predecessors of the University of applied Sciences from the turn of the century to the period of change in the 1920s, the confrontation with the tyranny of National Socialism as well as the ideological and personnel continuity in post-war Munich, which in some cases was frightening in some of the predecessor institutions. In the 1968s, students and teachers finally fought in the streets for recognition of their academic degrees and thus the founding of the FH München.
